Areas of Specialty

Deep Tissue Massage: Targets the deepest layers of muscle, tendons, and fascia to address chronic tension and tightness. Using slow, firm, and focused pressure, along with trigger point techniques, this treatment helps release adhesions, improve mobility, reduce muscle inflammation, and enhance circulation.

Swedish Massage: A relaxing, full-body massage that uses long, flowing strokes, gentle kneading, and rhythmic movements to improve circulation, reduce muscle tension, and promote overall relaxation. This technique is ideal for those new to massage therapy or anyone seeking stress relief, improved flexibility, and enhanced overall wellness.

Prenatal Massage: A therapeutic bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women to address the unique needs and changes that occur in their bodies during pregnancy. This type of massage focuses on providing relaxation, reducing stress, and relieving the common discomforts associated with pregnancy.

Cupping Therapy: A therapeutic technique that uses suction to lift and decompress soft tissue, helping increase circulation, reduce muscle tension, and support myofascial release. This treatment can also support tissue recovery, relieve pain, and improve mobility.

Personal

Growing up in the small town of Backus, Minnesota, my passion for massage therapy began after receiving my first professional massage and job shadowing a licensed massage therapist during my sophomore year of college. Growing up on a farm and being raised by a family that valued simple living and mindful, holistic choices, shaped my desire to pursue a healthcare career focused on meaningful, hands-on care. One of my inspirations for massage is Sister Rosalind Gefre, a pioneer for massage in Minnesota and North Dakota. Outside of the treatment room, I enjoy spending time outdoors and on Minnesota lakes, exploring holistic practices, participating in my church community, reading, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
